Our Goldendoodle Story

 

About the people:

 

Jake and I have always had a heart for caring for others.  Jake and I are college sweethearts and have been married for 13 years.  Before we were working with puppies, Jake worked as a firefighter and I worked as a counselor for teenage girls. I was fortunate enough to be able to bring my doodle to work with me every day.  I saw firsthand the impact that kind of unconditional love, which only a dog can show, can have on a person. We both grew up loving dogs and Jake even grew up raising them.

 

It is our passion to raise the kind of puppies we would want for our own family. We want to provide you with a loving, healthy, happy pup. We strive to serve our community and customers by dedicating our efforts to raising the best Goldendoodles possible.

We are so thankful to be following our dream of raising premium Goldendoodles for your family here in North Carolina. We were drawn to this area because of the beautiful weather and lovely people. Letting our dogs play on our five acres with a large pasture, creek, and pond brings us all so much joy. We have added chickens and a garden. Up next is a dairy cow, and someday a horse!

We have learned a lot with 8+ years of raising high-quality Goldendoodles. We have found a rhythm of routine and learned to have the flexibility of ditching the routine and problem-solving. Being able to read the signs of mama dogs and puppies has been one of our greatest assets. We continue to take classes online through the GoodDog Breeder Program. Being educated in the latest information and technology available is a top priority.

About our dogs:

​

We prioritize the health and temperament of our dogs. If for some reason a dog does not pass genetic testing, we spay or neuter them and do not use them in our breeding program.  We value the life and happiness of all dogs so we work hard to ensure a full and happy life before, during, and after they retire from breeding.

​

The puppies are raised by us in our home. We are a growing family with an 8-year-old son, a 5-year-old daughter, and a two-year-old baby girl.  They interact with the puppies all the time so they are used to being around little ones. Puppies are introduced to our Goldendoodle, Douglas, as well as any other visiting mamas.

• The first round of shots and they will be up to date with de-worming

• Two-year health guarantee towards all the health tests we do on our dames and sires

• And of course an adorable, loveable, and energetic Doodle puppy!
